When we are working on a new page for a customer, we almost always need to do an online presentation. With this plugin activated, we do not need to expose anything to the rest of the web at that point. Not even that we use WordPress as the CMS.
The authentication form of the plugin accepts login of all your WordPress users. Logged in, these can now see the page just as future visitors will, and as well log in through the WordPress login screen (wp-login.php) to enter the administration backend.

Allows to create a draft copy of a current post in two ways: 1. In ‘Manage Posts’, you can click on ‘Duplicate’ link; 2. While editing a post, you can click on ‘Make Copy’ button.
Both ways lead to the edit page of the new draft: change what you want, click on ‘Publish’ and you’re done.
Credit must be given to the (great) Post Template plugin by Vincent Prat: I made this by hacking his work to get something more focused to a sporadic use, without the need to create and manage templates just to make simple copies of some posts every now and then. If my plugin doesn’t fits your needs (and even if it does) check Vincent’s.
An example of use: I started this for a small movie theater website which I’m building. Every friday there’s a new movie showing with a new timetable, and thus a new post: but sometimes a movie stays for more than a week, so I need to copy the last post and change only the dates, leaving movie title, director’s and actors’ names etc. unchanged. The website is http://www.kino-desse.org and the cinema is located in Livorno, Italy.

ItÕs customary practice to release entries to limited recipients for early review or to gain publicity on the entry early. This plugin is labelled alpha and is feature-limited at the moment.
There are future features planned for this including WordPress admin integration and options, but I felt it was important to make an alpha release. This plugin is not supported in its current state, though feature ideas and feedback are welcome. This has been tested on WP 2.1 and development versions of WP but I see no reason why it would not be compatible in earlier versions.

fotolog.com is a site where people upload photos periodically. Recently they added RSS support. The default RSS widget doesn’t work right because the server doesn’t respond to HTTP 1.0 requests. This widget is specific for the site, so it is easier to set up. This first version shows thumbnails of the last added photos to a fotolog.
